When I am in the community I always stay safe. Being safe in the community means I am always aware of what's around me. When I am walking near the road or crossing the road I make sure to watch and look for cars. Looking at a phone or listening to music while walking around cars is not safe. When I cross the street I make sure look both ways more than once. Even when I have walking sign I still pay attention people driving by. Being safe in the community is an important part of being an adult.

Today I am going to blog about my cooking skills. I get practice cooking while I am at school on Thursdays. At school we talk about different ways to be safe while cooking. One meal I like to cook is cheesecake bites. I would like to learn how to cook chocolate pretzels. Cooking for myself makes me more independent. I like doing things for myself.
